Salary: $160,000 - $190,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Lead technical sustainment and transition of legacy Modeling and Simulation or training baselines within a larger operational portfolio.
• Serve as the primary technical authority for legacy behaviors, interfaces, dependencies, and operational constraints.
• Coordinate daily with engineering teams, incumbent contractors, and Government stakeholders to support sustainment and transition activities.
• Guide engineers in implementing fixes and integrations while ensuring legacy simulation artifacts remain operational.
• Translate operational tactics, techniques, and procedures into simulation requirements and behaviors.
• Partner with cybersecurity and DevSecOps teams to address findings and maintain compliance.

Requirements

• Active Secret security clearance.
• Must reside in the continental United States.
• 12+ years of professional engineering experience.
• Bachelors degree in an IT-related field.
• CompTIA Security+ certification.
• Experience with legacy M&S systems and integrating them into cloud-enabled architectures (AWS or Azure).

Nice to have

• Certifications: CISSP, CySA+, AWS/Azure Cloud Security, or Kubernetes security.
• Experience supporting Air Force or DoD Modeling and Simulation or training systems.
• 2+ years of military mission planning, operational, or wargaming experience.
• Experience with RESTful architectures used to integrate legacy capabilities.
