What you will do

• Lead the day-to-day technical execution of a data migration stream from AWS to GCP.
• Coordinate implementation across hirify.global, client, vendor, and platform teams.
• Perform hands-on development, troubleshooting, code review, and validation of data pipelines.
• Collaborate with the Architect on design decisions, risk mitigation, and architecture alignment.
• Work with DevOps on CI/CD, Terraform, IAM, and environment setup.
• Support migration planning, validation, and post-cutover stabilization.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with GCP (Cloud Composer, Dataflow, GCS, Pub/Sub, Cloud Run).
• Deep practical expertise in Apache Airflow, including DAG development and orchestration.
• Solid experience with relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server) and SQL optimization.
• Working knowledge of AWS services (S3, MWAA, Lambda) to translate them into GCP architectures.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, Bash, and Terraform for automation and orchestration.
• English: Upper-Intermediate to Advanced skills required.

Nice to have

• Exposure to Databricks and Snowflake for analytics and data modeling.
