What you will do

• Design and implement a PHY validation framework focused on automation and modularity to support diverse hardware requirements.
• Develop test infrastructure and automation tools to ensure reliable and repeatable validation workflows.
• Integrate DUTs, measurement instruments, and test control platforms into the validation framework.
• Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and automated result reporting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional hardware, firmware, and test engineering teams to define validation goals.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to software engineering best practices in validation methodology.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years or Master's degree with 5+ years of experience in software engineering.
• Proficiency in at least one modern language (C++, C#, Python) and strong software design principles.
• Proven experience designing automation frameworks or validation infrastructure.
• Familiarity with PHY layer concepts such as SERDES, USB, PCIe, or Ethernet.
• Hands-on experience integrating test equipment (oscilloscopes, BERTs) via APIs like SCPI, VISA, or gRPC.
• Must be eligible to access export-controlled information under U.S. export control laws (EAR).

Nice to have

• Experience developing test automation systems in hardware validation or lab environments.
• Knowledge of data analysis tools like Pandas, NumPy, or MATLAB.
• Familiarity with hardware bring-up, signal integrity, or post-silicon validation processes.
