What you will do

• Lead complex software engineering projects and mentor junior engineers.
• Design and develop scalable systems for production checkout applications to withstand unparalleled demand.
• Implement appropriate technologies and APIs to solve business needs across teams and business units.
• Improve existing systems' code quality, performance, reliability, and observability.
• Troubleshoot and debug production environments while identifying system improvements.
• Communicate major operational and technical initiatives, including RCAs, to broader audiences.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience with a Bachelor's degree (or 3+ years with a Master's).
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and strong JavaScript experience.
• Hands-on experience with React and Scala.
• Experience maintaining and operating multiple software projects in production environments.
• Proven ability to create APIs consumed across different teams or business units.
• Must be based in the US or have valid US work authorization (E-Verify participant).
