Fullstack Engineer (Rails/React)

Salary: 108,000 - 140,000 USD per year (US)

What you will do

• Ship full-stack features across Rails/React/GraphQL codebases, building comfort in new parts of the stack
• Own features end-to-end from scoping and definition through testing, rollout, and monitoring
• Collaborate across engineering, product, and design to scope concepts and deliver releases
• Debug production issues methodically and communicate clearly with the team
• Participate in code review, contribute to architecture and documentation, advocate for tech debt and testing
• Take ownership of the health and performance of team services

Requirements

• 2-4 years of professional software engineering experience
• Solid fundamentals in Ruby/Rails and JavaScript/React with comfort working across the stack
• Familiarity with GraphQL or eagerness to learn
• Understanding of web architecture, including frontend/backend separation and API design
• Clear communicator who can scope and explain tradeoffs to engineers, PMs, and designers

Nice to have

• Experience with AI workflows, TypeScript, Datadog, Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions
