What you will do

• Design firmware interfaces and abstractions connecting low-level hardware details with firmware layers.
• Develop firmware for memory subsystem initialization, training, and calibration algorithms.
• Ensure strict adherence to JEDEC standards and memory design specifications across diverse technologies.
• Validate and debug firmware on simulation models to verify design functionality and timing.
• Root cause and debug issues in pre-silicon and post-silicon environments to improve system reliability.
• Collaborate with digital/analog architects and RTL designers to optimize verification of complex features.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years, Master's with 3+ years, or PhD with 2+ years of relevant experience in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science.
• Proficiency in C, C++, or Python programming languages.
• Experience with firmware development, debugging, and validation processes.
• Strong knowledge of computer architecture principles and memory subsystem design.
• Familiarity with GitHub code repositories and review processes.
• Must have legal authorization to work in the US; this position is not eligible for hirify.global Immigration Sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with BIOS EDK2 interfaces.
• Experience with JEDEC specifications and standards for memory technologies.
