Salary: $53,700 - $91,950 USD

What you will do

• Research nursing course markets to identify adoption drivers, student needs, and competitive gaps.
• Recruit and manage a network of authors and subject matter experts (SMEs) while providing consistent author care.
• Develop acquisition proposals including market rationale, cost assumptions, and P&L forecasts.
• Negotiate and execute contracts regarding scope, schedules, and deliverables.
• Collaborate with Development Editors and Product teams to move projects through the publishing workflow.
• Support the creation of digital-first assets like assessments, videos, and practice materials.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• 3+ years of experience in higher education publishing or adjacent fields (editorial, product, or marketing).
• Ability to translate market insights into actionable business recommendations.
• Comfort with basic financial inputs, forecasts, and P&L awareness.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for engaging external experts professionally.
• Must be able to appear onsite at a hirify.global office for the interview process.

Nice to have

• Experience with nursing, allied health, or clinical education content markets.
• Familiarity with author contracting, negotiation, and IP rights.
• Experience managing multi-format content (print and digital).
