What you will do

• Analyze editorial content for accuracy, logical consistency, and editorial integrity.
• Conduct thorough research to evaluate writer sources and identify necessary additional documentation.
• Interview sources and distill critical information relevant to reported pieces.
• Review supporting content including social copy, illustrations, and photographs.
• Collaborate with writers, copy editors, and editors across the publication.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Strong understanding of ethical reporting standards and practices.
• Adeptness for precision and a generalist interest in national and world affairs.
• Diplomatic skills for working in complex situations with various stakeholders.
• Must be based in New York, NY.
• Willingness to work early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
