What you will do

• Research, implement, and train ML models to perform vision-based localization.
• Curate datasets for model training and validation.
• Collaborate with validation teams to formulate and execute model validation pipelines.
• Integrate models into the onboard autonomy system within defined compute budgets.
• Act as a technical leader, maintaining coding and ML development best practices and contributing to architectural decisions.

Requirements

• MS in Computer Science or a related field with 7+ years of experience.
• Proven experience in computer vision-based pose estimation.
• Experience training and deploying deep learning models.
• Proficiency with Python libraries including PyTorch and NumPy.
• Experience with C++.
• Must be able to work in a hybrid setup in Foster City, CA.

Nice to have

• Experience with SLAM systems that incorporate ML models.
• Background in robotics or autonomous systems.
• Experience with CUDA and/or GPU programming.
