What you will do

• Lead end-to-end ML research from idea generation to production deployment and monitoring.
• Design and evaluate novel methods for LLM alignment and hallucination detection using proprietary clinical data.
• Build high-quality datasets and establish best practices for statistically sound experimental design.
• Collaborate with engineering to productionize models using MLOps and infrastructure tools.
• Mentor other researchers to raise the bar for research quality across the team.
• Develop methods for long-context and multimodal modeling with structured and unstructured data.

Requirements

• Strong track record of ML research with publications in top-tier venues (e.g., NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR).
• Deep understanding of LLM failure modes and experience designing rigorous evaluation frameworks.
• Hands-on experience training large-scale deep learning models on multi-GPU/distributed systems.
• Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks such as PyTorch or JAX.
• Experience deploying ML models into production and monitoring performance.
• Must be based in the United States

Nice to have

• Experience with inference optimization (vLLM, KV caching, speculative decoding).
• Familiarity with MLSys concepts and distributed training infrastructure.
• Experience working with clinical or healthcare data.
• Background in retrieval systems, graph-based learning, or multimodal modeling.
