What you will do

• Replace server-rendered UIs with modern React components using incremental modernization patterns (strangler pattern).
• Convert Figma designs into production-ready React components, leveraging AI tools to accelerate implementation.
• Identify and resolve API decoupling requirements by collaborating with backend engineers.
• Implement feature flags for safe UI rollouts and write unit and visual regression tests to maintain stability.
• Conduct performance benchmarking to demonstrate measurable improvements after modernization.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with designers, product managers, and backend engineers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a frontend engineer.
• Strong proficiency in React, TypeScript, JavaScript, and CSS.
• Hands-on experience modernizing server-rendered legacy stacks (e.g., PHP, Ruby on Rails, or .NET).
• Proven ability to use AI coding tools to ship production frontend code.
• Experience with Figma handoffs and frontend testing proficiency.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring current or future sponsorship (including OPT, STEM OPT, or H-1B).

• Experience working across multiple products or within a platform engineering team.
