What you will do
- Develop and execute strategic plans, unit reviews, and community/industry partner initiatives.
- Coordinate the transition to the Downtown Kelowna campus, including project planning, implementation timelines, and risk mitigation.
- Organize high-profile seminars, workshops, and conferences, managing all logistics, budgets, and digital/print advertising.
- Collect and analyze statistical data for annual reports and present findings to the Dean and Faculty Council.
- Oversee Senate curriculum submissions and develop onboarding, recruitment, and delivery strategies for non-degree programs.
- Manage project team members, including faculty, support staff, and students.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline.
- Minimum of two years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be based in or able to work onsite in Kelowna.
- Demonstrated commitment to enhancing awareness and skills related to equity, diversity, and inclusion.
- Proven communication skills with a track record of disseminating complex information to diverse audiences.
Nice to have
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Experience supporting engagement activities within a post-secondary or similar environment.
- Proficiency in design and publishing software such as Adobe Suite, Canva, or Envoke.
- Formal public speaking skills for small and large groups.
- Experience with photography and professional record management.
