What you will do

• Lead and oversee installation technicians on project sites while performing hands-on installation tasks including rack build-outs, panel terminations, device IPing, and testing.
• Maintain job schedules, prioritize tasks, and communicate issues like missing equipment or drawing problems to site supervisor immediately.
• Keep detailed records in OneNote of work accomplished, project issues, inventory, redlines, and RFIs.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, subcontractors, and project management; delegate work and make onsite decisions independently.
• Assist technicians with questions, train and coach to company standards, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and PPE usage.

Requirements

• Location: Richmond, VA, USA – must be able to work on construction sites, lift 40lbs, climb ladders, and travel with active passport.
• 3+ years hands-on experience installing access control and video surveillance in large-scale commercial environments like data centers.
• Experience supervising others, providing feedback, and training to company standards.
• Proficiency with access control/CCTV systems (Genetec, Avigilon, Lenel, AMAG, S2, Honeywell, Software House, Bosch, DMP); mechanical retrofitting; network interfaces; PC admin for IP cameras.
• Administrative skills: Teams, Outlook, OneNote, BlueBeam; understanding of drawings, matrices, BOMs, SRDs.
• Clean driving and criminal record; ability to obtain security clearance.
