Assistant Manager, DevOps (AWS)

hirify.global's IT department operates cloud infrastructure and DevOps environments for SaaS applications.

What you will do

• Lead the design, optimisation, and governance of CI/CD pipelines across development, staging, and production environments.
• Manage AWS cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes container platforms, including EKS and ECS.
• Lead infrastructure automation using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and performance optimisation for scalable distributed systems.
• Integrate security and compliance practices into infrastructure architecture and deployment workflows.
• Collaborate with engineering, QA, product, and operations teams while mentoring DevOps engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 6–9 years of hands-on DevOps experience, preferably in cloud-native or SaaS environments.
• Strong expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, EKS/ECS, and Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent tools.
• Experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines, monitoring and observability systems, and distributed infrastructure.
• Experience troubleshooting cloud infrastructure, container platforms, and deployment pipelines.
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB, plus the ability to lead initiatives and mentor engineers.
