TL;DR

Professional Technical Billing Support Engineer (SaaS): Providing expert-level technical billing assistance and troubleshooting complex invoice issues for global customers with an accent on API integrations, SAP reconciliation, and cloud infrastructure. Focus on performing root cause analysis for billing discrepancies, optimizing service desk processes, and ensuring SLO compliance for high-priority incidents.

Location: Hybrid in Taguig City, Philippines (10x a month RTO), Night Shift and Rotational Weekends

What you will do

  • Resolve complex inbound billing and technical service requests via phone and email for US, Canada, and LATAM markets.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues across software, APIs, integrations, and infrastructure.
  • Reconcile invoicing data against vendor invoices or SAP to determine accurate resolutions.
  • Perform root cause analysis on bugs and collaborate with engineering teams on feature requests and fixes.
  • Manage incident response and participate in on-call rotations for critical billing issues.
  • Develop and maintain internal technical documentation, runbooks, and FAQs.

Requirements

  • 4–7+ years of experience in technical billing support.
  • Proficiency with SAP, SaaS platforms, APIs, and cloud services (AWS, Azure).
  • Experience with web servers (Apache, IIS) and databases (MySQL, MSSQL, PostgreSQL).
  • Working knowledge of Linux environments and ticketing systems like Zendesk or Jira.
  • Fluent in English (verbal and written).
  • Ability to work night shifts and rotational weekends to support a 24x7 business.

Nice to have

  • ITIL or Microsoft Azure certifications.
  • Hands-on experience with GCP or advanced cloud platform management.
  • Scripting skills in Python, Bash, PowerShell, or PHP.
  • Knowledge of SQL, Docker, and Kubernetes.
