Salary: $255,000 - $285,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead the design and evolution of AI-powered backend systems for conversation guidance and matchmaking.
• Architect and scale agent-based systems, including prompt management and context orchestration.
• Establish best practices for the development lifecycle, testing, and monitoring of AI agents.
• Drive experimentation and prototyping of new AI capabilities into production-ready systems.
• Partner cross-functionally with Product, Data, and Trust teams to ensure responsible AI implementation.
• Implement evaluation strategies for LLM-powered systems using offline and online metrics.

Requirements

• Typically 10+ years of experience in building and scaling backend systems.
• Strong expertise in Python and modern service-oriented or distributed architectures.
• Proven track record of deploying AI/ML products involving LLMs or agent-based systems.
• Hands-on experience with GCP, prompt engineering, and context management.
• Must be within commutable distance to the Austin, TX office.
• Cannot provide Visa sponsorship at this time.
