Location: Hybrid (San Francisco, CA or Seattle, WA). Staff are expected to be in one of the offices at least 25% of the time.

Salary: $405,000 - $485,000 USD

What you will do

• Form the founding team by recruiting and onboarding strong engineers and setting technical direction.
• Own end-to-end engineering execution, including planning, prioritization, and delivery quality.
• Partner with product and design to shape the roadmap rather than just executing against it.
• Manage technical integration seams with billing, auth, identity, and other platform teams.
• Work directly with enterprise customers and ecosystem partners to turn feedback into priorities.
• Drive platform-readiness by collaborating with security, legal, and operations.

Requirements

• Experience taking a product or platform from 0 to 1, including early architectural decisions.
• Skilled engineering management craft with a focus on clear feedback and team growth.
• Experience leading teams whose work sits at the seams between other internal teams.
• Ability to work directly with customers, partners, and GTM organizations.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Nice to have

• Experience building multi-sided platforms or partner ecosystems at enterprise scale.
• Background designing business logic and orchestration for financial systems.
• Experience shipping authentication and integration products from a developer-experience perspective.
• Experience building self-serve tooling that displaces manual operations.
