Location: Remote (requires active unrestricted license in MA or NY, or in ME, NH, CT, NJ, DE, MD, DC, PA with IMLC LOQ)

Base Annual Salary $210,000 - $225,000 USD

What you will do

• Provide direct patient care focused on obesity treatment and collaborate with APPs to co-manage shared panels without your own primary panel.
• Review charts and conduct return visits for APP patients every third visit to ensure quality and continuity.
• Offer treatment planning and medical management support for complex cases.
• Prescribe non-controlled obesity medications under direct care and in coordination with APPs.
• Hold weekly 30-minute collaborative meetings and 30-minute asynchronous communication with each assigned APP for case reviews and mentorship.
• Assist in professional development of APPs through feedback and continuing education support.
• Participate in team meetings and quality improvement efforts.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree, board certified diplomate of American Board of Obesity Medicine (ABOM)
• Minimum 5 years as attending physician in primary specialty
• Active unrestricted state license in MA or NY, or licensed in ME, NH, CT, NJ, DE, MD, DC, PA with IMLC LOQ
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for patient and team interactions
• Strong interest in mentoring, teaching, and collaborating with APPs
• Demonstrated experience working with APPs, medical residents, or trainees
• Adherence to evidence-based obesity treatments, behavioral interventions, nutrition, and pharmacotherapy
• Comfortable in multidisciplinary team with dietitians, behavioral health providers, and nursing staff
