Forward Deployed Engineer (AI): Building proof-of-concept solutions and providing architectural recommendations to onboard high-spending customers for an AI infrastructure platform with an accent on full-stack development and AI model deployment. Focus on troubleshooting complex technical issues, optimizing ML inference pipelines, and bridging the gap between customer needs and engineering implementation.

Location: Remote, must be located in the APAC region (ideally Malaysia, Singapore, or South Korea)

Salary: $100,000 – $160,000 USD

What you will do

• Partner with sales to explain technologies, provide architectural advice, and build POCs for high-value customers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve critical technical escalations involving configuration, performance, and code errors.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and supply teams to integrate customer feedback into the product.
• Support the internal support team by resolving escalated tickets and providing workarounds or bug fixes.
• Create technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and deliver customer training and demos.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in Python (Django, Flask, PyTorch), JavaScript (React, Node.js), and Go.
• Experience with Linux/Ubuntu, Docker, SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL), and NoSQL (MongoDB).
• Deep understanding of AI/ML model training, inference, and deployment as services/APIs.
• Must be based in the APAC region (preferably Malaysia, Singapore, or South Korea).
