ERP Business Analyst (Financial Management)

TL;DR

ERP Business Analyst (CGI Advantage): Analyzing business processes and developing functional requirements for financial management systems with an accent on system configuration and testing. Focus on executing UAT scripts across budget, accounts payable, and general ledger modules while coordinating with senior-level stakeholders.

Location: Hybrid (Arlington, VA). Must be able to travel up to 25% (approx. 1 week per month) to Nassau County, NY.

Salary: $90,000 - $105,000 a year

What you will do

• Analyze current business processes and develop functional requirements to address client needs.
• Review existing configuration documentation and validate expected functionality with subject matter experts.
• Develop UAT strategies, scenarios, and test scripts across ERP modules including Budget, GL, AP, and Procurement.
• Execute test cases, validate system behavior, and coordinate defect resolution with stakeholders.
• Gather requirements and recommend implementation approaches to senior-level clients.
• Support technical artifacts such as SQL queries, test data sets, and reconciliation reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, or a similar field.
• 5-8 years of experience as a business analyst or tester with Financial Management ERP solutions.
• 4+ years of experience with Advantage or Momentum Financials.
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
• Willingness to travel approximately 25% to Nassau County, NY.
• Strong written and oral communication skills for interacting with senior-level management.

• Experience with SQL and other data management tools.
• Experience with automated testing tools.
