TL;DR

Director Of Operations, PLM (Medical Devices): Leading post-market program management functions across operating units with an accent on supply continuity, regulatory compliance, and cost optimization. Focus on overseeing a team of program managers, executing post-launch strategies, and managing a complex portfolio of product lifecycle investments.

Location: Onsite in Fridley, MN (4 days a week)

Salary: $201,600 - $302,400

What you will do

  • Lead and develop a team of approximately 20 project and program managers, providing coaching and career development.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of complex, cross-functional post-market programs to ensure supply continuity.
  • Define the strategic vision for post-market project management and implement best-in-class organizational practices.
  • Lead post-launch strategies including geographic expansion, market entry, and local compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with Regulatory Affairs and Quality teams to ensure all marketed products maintain global regulatory compliance.
  • Manage a portfolio of investments aligned to AOP targets, acting as the primary liaison for project intake and resourcing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with 10+ years of experience in PMO, R&D, Engineering, Operations, Quality, or Supply Chain.
  • Minimum of 7+ years of People Management experience.
  • Must possess unrestricted U.S. work authorization (Sponsorship is not offered for this level).
  • Proven ability to lead large-scale global projects within high-performing, matrixed organizations.
  • Strong expertise in project management, process design, and project planning best practices.

Nice to have

  • Advanced degree in Engineering or an MBA.
  • 5+ years of experience in a regulated medical device environment.
  • Deep understanding of product design, manufacturing, and distribution processes.
  • Experience managing engineering or project management teams.
