Salary: $118,800 - $196,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Design detailed storylines, quests, NPC communities, and open-world events.
• Implement content using visual scripting within a proprietary toolset in UE5.
• Plan and integrate gameplay elements, locations, characters, and dialogue into a seamless experience.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to maintain a high quality bar through review and iteration.
• Create and maintain comprehensive design documentation.
• Mentor and train other members of the narrative team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Quest, Narrative, or Open World Designer on AAA projects.
• At least one shipped narrative-driven AAA game.
• Proficiency with Unreal Engine 5 (UE5) and visual scripting.
• Deep understanding of interactive storytelling and game design.
• Must be based in Boston, US.
• A portfolio or project examples are mandatory for consideration.
