What you will do

• Oversee the implementation of systems to protect associates, the environment, facilities, and local communities.
• Lead the development of EHS strategies and policies to ensure sustained compliance and a zero-harm culture.
• Coordinate all business continuity activities across the Americas region in alignment with global teams.
• Develop and maintain safety KPIs, leveraging data and analytics to improve safety processes.
• Drive environmental sustainability initiatives to reduce emissions, waste, and chemical exposure.
• Provide technical support and guidance to EHS leaders in Latin America through a matrix structure.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Health and Safety, Science, or a related field.
• 15 or more years of experience in manufacturing managing global or regional EHS/sustainability programs.
• In-depth knowledge of manufacturing environments and experience with large project situations.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of leadership, including organized labor.
• Strong analytical and influencing skills with a global thinking mindset.
• Location: Based in Akron, Ohio.

• Master's degree.
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification.
