TL;DR
Lead Technical Product Manager (Platform): Own and evolve the product onboarding and integration experience for the Ascend platform with an accent on technical mechanics, scalability, and self-service capabilities. Focus on defining roadmaps for onboarding tooling, standardizing integration patterns, and leveraging automation and AI to accelerate workflows.
Location: Hybrid in Nottingham or London (40% in the office)

What you will do
- Define and evolve the end-to-end onboarding journey from discovery to go-live, ensuring consistency, scalability, and reuse.
- Identify critical integration points and establish standardised patterns, reference architectures, and playbooks.
- Own the roadmap for onboarding tooling, developer experience, documentation, and self-service capabilities.
- Partner with Architecture and Engineering to align with platform standards like API-first, microservices, and event-driven design.
- Lead cross-functional delivery through influence across Product, Engineering, Architecture, and Commercial teams.
- Define intake frameworks, prioritise demand, track KPIs like time to integrate and developer satisfaction, and drive data-based improvements.
Requirements
- Experience in Product Management or Technical Product Management.
- Proven experience with platforms, APIs, SDKs, or integration-focused products and architectures.
- Experience in matrix environments.
- Understanding of microservices, event-driven systems, and data integration patterns.
- Experience designing scalable, reusable platform capabilities.
- Experience tracking onboarding KPIs; understanding of AI for platform capabilities.
