What you will do

• Own the technical direction of the squad and mentor a small team of 1-2 engineers.
• Design and build robust data pipelines, APIs, and services to drive business decisions.
• Participate in architectural discussions to evolve the data platform for the US market.
• Maintain high standards of code quality, scalability, and testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in modern Python and writing clean, idiomatic, well-tested code.
• Experience building and maintaining data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Proficiency with FastAPI or similar modern Python web frameworks.
• Experience with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Strong automated testing skills across unit, integration, and functional levels.

Nice to have

• Experience in cross-functional or data-focused engineering environments.
• Familiarity with US financial products or regulated markets.
