Salary: $145,000 – $160,000 annually

What you will do

• Manage accurate reporting of indirect tax returns (VAT/GST) for hirify.global and its foreign subsidiaries.
• Implement tax planning strategies to maximize savings and conduct technical tax research.
• Advise management on tax consequences of proposed transactions, business acquisitions, and restructurings.
• Handle tax audits and controversies by responding to government requests and defending filing positions.
• Collaborate with internal project teams to provide technical tax advice on various financial portfolios.

Requirements

• BS/BA in Accounting or Tax; CPA, MBA, or advanced degree in taxation is a plus.
• Minimum of 5-6 years of directly related tax experience in a Big 4 accounting firm or industry.
• Proficiency in tax preparation and research tools such as Avalara, CCH, or RIA.
• Broad technical knowledge of US and international indirect tax laws and regulations.
• Experience with digital services, tangible goods, and supply chain logistics.
