Principal Product Designer (Real Estate): Leading the transformation of design foundations and systems for high-intent real estate marketplace experiences with an accent on coherence, scalability, and AI integration. Focus on defining interaction patterns, governance, and AI-readable components to enable consistent, high-quality experiences across platforms and teams.

Location: Must be currently based in Spain (remote or Barcelona), Portugal (remote or Lisbon), or the Netherlands (remote or Amsterdam). No relocation support. Right to work in one of these countries required; local visa transfer support available if eligible.

What you will do

• Lead craft and quality across Real Estate vertical by setting standards for interaction, UX, and visual design.
• Own design systems and governance, defining guidelines and patterns to reduce fragmentation.
• Drive AI-ready design foundations, evolving systems into machine-readable formats for AI-assisted creation and scalability.
• Hands-on design and prototype critical flows, pushing execution excellence.
• Influence product strategy through design-led thinking and cross-functional collaboration.
• Mentor designers to elevate craft quality and foster continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 10+ years in product design at Staff or Principal level with proven track record in complex digital products.
• Deep expertise in UX/interaction design, visual design, systems thinking, and end-to-end experiences.
• Experience with design systems, scalable frameworks, standards, and governance across teams.
• Understanding of AI/ML design patterns (prompt design, conversational UX, agentic workflows) and technical fluency for collaboration with ML engineers.
• Builder mindset with high attention to detail, autonomy in ambiguity, and strong communication/leadership.
• Currently based in Spain, Portugal, or Netherlands with right to work.

Nice to have

• Active use of AI tools in design workflow for prototyping, research, or code-assisted design.
• Experience in AI-driven product experiences or evolving design systems into structured data.
