TL;DR

Principal Product Designer (Real Estate): Leading the cross-platform design experience for the Real Estate vertical with an accent on design systems, governance, and AI-native infrastructure. Location: Must be based in Spain, Portugal, or the Netherlands (Remote or Office in Barcelona, Lisbon, or Amsterdam). No relocation support provided.

What you will do

• Set and uphold a high bar for interaction, UX, and visual design quality across all Real Estate experiences.
• Define and govern the design system application within the vertical to reduce fragmentation and increase consistency.
• Lead the evolution of design patterns into structured, machine-readable formats to enable AI-assisted creation.
• Design and prototype critical flows and complex interactions hands-on.
• Partner with Product and Engineering leaders to influence product direction through design-led thinking.
• Mentor and coach designers to elevate the overall craft and quality bar across the vertical.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in product design, operating at Staff or Principal level.
• Proven track record of shipping high-quality, complex digital products.
• Deep expertise in design systems, scalable frameworks, and governance models.
• Understanding of AI/ML product design patterns, including conversational UX and agentic workflows.
• Must be currently based in Spain, Portugal, or the Netherlands.
• Strong ability to navigate ambiguity and align cross-functional teams through compelling design narratives.

Nice to have

• Active use of AI tools for prototyping, research synthesis, or design exploration.
• Experience with tokenized systems and machine-readable design patterns.
