What you will do

• Lead subsystem development and cross-functional integration with architects, program teams, and manufacturing.
• Drive dimensional strategy, GD&T alignment, and interface integration for quality and manufacturability.
• Execute all VDP deliverables, including design releases, sourcing, tooling, validation, and PPAP.
• Co-lead system design, peer, and DRBTR reviews to ensure design fidelity and compliance.
• Develop and execute validation and fit strategies using CAE and VSM.
• Conduct trade studies based on cost, mass, timing, DFMEA, and quality targets.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience as DRE in new product development through full vehicle cycles.
• Proficiency in engineering operations, specification, and release processes.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills for cross-cultural team collaboration.
• No immigration sponsorship provided; must have legal authorization to work in the US.
• Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle.

Nice to have

• Master of Science or other Advanced Degree.
• DFSS Black Belt Certification and Red X Journeyman.
• Experience in fixture design and product validation.
• Experience in budget plan development.
• Knowledge of plastics part development (injection/compression molding).
