Group Accountant

Location: Onsite in East Leeds

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum

What you will do

• Prepare monthly management accounts and consolidated reporting packs.
• Manage accruals and prepayments, alongside detailed variance analysis.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes across multiple business units.
• Partner with operational teams to provide financial insight and cost control support.
• Develop KPI reporting and enhance cost centre analysis.
• Contribute to process improvements and strengthen financial controls.

Requirements

• Experience working in an accountancy practice or a similar industry finance role.
• Strong understanding of core accounting principles and month-end processes.
• Experience with accounting software such as Sage or similar.
• Studying towards or recently qualified in ACCA or ACA.
• Location: Must be based in or be able to work onsite in East Leeds.
