Coater Technician

What you will do

• Clean, inspect, and measure advanced substrates to ensure quality.
• Package optical components and set up tooling.
• Load parts into coating chambers and start coating runs.
• Perform tooling fit checks, read prints for specs, and inspect products.
• Handle non-conforming material, raise technical issues, and understand defect types.
• Train on ISO/mil/final inspections and perform other assigned tasks.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience working in a cleanroom environment.
• At least 2 years of work experience in a process manufacturing environment desired.
• Teamwork and ability to work effectively within the team.
• Understanding of substrate materials, non-conforming material, and defect types.
• Able to read and comprehend prints for surface quality, dimensions, and packaging.
