What you will do

• Act as the technical owner of SageMaker Unified Studio (SMUS) and Data Innovation Workbench (DIW), ensuring high availability and security.
• Define and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) standards using AWS CDK, CloudFormation, and Terraform.
• Integrate governance platforms with data stores (Redshift, S3, MongoDB) and streaming platforms (Kafka/MSK).
• Monitor platform performance and capacity while optimizing cloud infrastructure costs.
• Collaborate with DevOps, Data Engineering, and Cyber Security teams to embed governance into platform services.
• Develop standards and best practices for governance tooling and infrastructure evolution.

Requirements

• Proven experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or cloud infrastructure.
• Hands-on expertise with AWS cloud services and infrastructure.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (CDK, CloudFormation, Terraform).
• Experience supporting production-grade cloud platforms and optimizing cloud costs.
• Experience setting up CI/CD pipelines (familiarity with CircleCI).
• Strong understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience implementing data governance capabilities in cloud-native environments.
• Understanding of metadata, data lineage, and AI governance concepts.
• Experience with AWS data engineering workflows (Redshift, S3) and SQL.
• Familiarity with Airflow and streaming platforms like Kafka/MSK.
• Experience with IAM, SSO integration, and role-based access control.
