TL;DR
Director, Communications & Editorial Content (SaaS): Leading global communications, social media, and content strategy for with an accent on corporate storytelling, executive narratives, and media relations. Focus on building high-impact brand awareness, scaling content through AI, and advising senior leadership on public presence.
Location: Must be based in Raleigh, NC or San Francisco, CA. Hybrid culture: in-office 3 days per week.
Salary: $155,000 - $240,000 plus eligibility for 20% corporate bonus.

What you will do
- Lead and evolve the global communications strategy across media, influencer relations, and social media.
- Develop corporate and executive narratives that connect the company's mission and products to industry conversations.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the executive team on speeches, thought leadership, and public presence.
- Drive strategic campaigns and proactive pitching to secure coverage in top-tier business and technology outlets.
- Oversee content strategy and ensure a consistent voice and high-quality storytelling across owned channels.
- Leverage AI and emerging technologies to improve content creation, team efficiency, and performance analysis.
Requirements
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
- At least 10 years of experience in communications, PR, or editorial roles.
- At least 5 years of experience leading integrated teams in high-growth B2B technology or SaaS environments.
- Proven success developing global media strategies and securing top-tier media coverage.
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with mastery of journalistic and AP style.
- BA/BS degree, preferably in communications, journalism, marketing, or a related field.

- Deep understanding of the business, technology, and SaaS media landscape.
- Experience building and scaling executive communications programs.
- Comfort navigating and experimenting with AI tools to accelerate content and communications work.
- Collaborative leadership style with experience managing agencies and high-performing teams.
