What you will do

• Improve security automation and strengthen product security pipelines.
• Explore and implement the use of AI for vulnerability detection and remediation.
• Develop software engineering solutions to enhance security services.
• Maintain the Web Application Firewall (WAF) ruleset and a central HTML sanitization service in TypeScript.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the product department to integrate security early in the development process.
• Review and maintain outbound e-mail security metrics.

Requirements

• Programming proficiency in one of the following: TypeScript, JavaScript, Kotlin, Java, Go, or Python.
• Practical knowledge of Unix basics and Kubernetes infrastructure.
• Experience with security topics such as penetration testing, secure software development, vulnerability management, SAST, and DAST.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code, preferably using Terraform and Kustomize.
• English: Proficiency required (German is a plus).
• Location: Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Chemnitz, Berlin, Dresden, or Leipzig.
