What you will do

  • Serve as the primary HR partner for Finance, IT, Legal, and Digital Transformation departments, aligning people strategies with growth plans.
  • Advise senior leadership on organizational design, workforce planning, talent development, and performance management.
  • Act as the in-house expert on German labour law, managing contracts and maintaining a proactive relationship with the Works Council.
  • Lead and mentor a team of HR Admin professionals to ensure operational excellence and data integrity.
  • Drive the adoption of AI and automation tools across HR workflows, including contract management and compliance.
  • Leverage people analytics and HR data to provide evidence-based insights for business decision-making.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive HRBP experience, ideally within a SaaS or technology organization.
  • Exceptional knowledge of German labour law (qualification as a German lawyer is a strong advantage).
  • Hands-on experience working with a Works Council and navigating co-determination rights.
  • Fluent in both German and English (written and spoken).
  • Proven people management experience, including coaching and developing direct reports.
  • Digital-first mindset with proficiency in HRIS platforms and people analytics tooling.

Nice to have

  • Experience supporting technology-driven functions such as IT, Digital Transformation, or Engineering.
  • Familiarity with European employment law beyond Germany (e.g., Austria, Netherlands, France).
  • Experience in scale-up or hyper-growth environments.
  • Prior exposure to HRIS implementation or HR process automation projects.
