TL;DR

Finance Senior Manager (Transport): Overseeing end-to-end financial reporting for the Transport business during a major cloud transformation and electrification shift with an accent on financial control and management accounting. Focus on leading a team of 12, providing commercial drivers' insight, and ensuring high-quality financial reporting to support decision-making.

Location: Newport, Bristol, or Manchester. Hybrid working: minimum 2 days per week (40% of time) in office.

Salary: £85,493 - £100,580

What you will do

  • Lead and develop a team of 12 to foster a high-performance culture and professional development.
  • Oversee and deliver end-to-end financial reporting for the Transport business.
  • Provide insightful management accounting reporting and maintain strong financial control.
  • Collaborate with Finance Business Partners and senior stakeholders to drive commercial decision-making.
  • Implement and embed multiple change initiatives during a period of major business transformation.

Requirements

  • Recognised accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent).
  • At least 5 years of experience in financial control within a financial services reporting environment.
  • Demonstrable leadership capability using a coaching-led approach.
  • Proven ability to lead teams through transition and implement change initiatives.
  • Strong collaborative skills to build relationships across different business areas.

Nice to have

  • Product knowledge in HP and Leasing.
  • Experience with PowerBI or other AI-powered tools.
