To fuel Swappie’s profitable growth and advance our mission of making refurbished electronics mainstream, we are looking for a Senior Pricing Analyst to take commercial ownership of a pricing portfolio and help us build the best pricing engine in the refurbished electronics industry.

At Swappie, pricing is the engine that drives our commercial success. In this role, you will operate at the exact intersection of advanced data modeling and real-world business strategy. Your mission is twofold: maximize our profitability through highly accurate daily pricing decisions, and fundamentally advance our pricing architecture by developing cutting-edge models.




WHAT YOU’LL ACTUALLY DO
* Commercial ownership: Independently make pricing decisions across your allocated device portfolio to hit Swappie's sales and margin targets. You will constantly navigate and master margin vs. volume trade-offs.


* Build the engine: Take end-to-end ownership of pricing development projects. You will design, build, and optimize models for forecasting, elasticity, country-level pricing, and margin optimization.


* Innovate with AI: Advance our pricing capabilities using modern development approaches. Our team builds with Claude Code today. We expect you to use agentic coding to accelerate your builds and push our practices forward.


* Strategic collaboration: Act as the core pricing point of contact for our Markets, Product, and Purchasing teams. You will proactively flag commercial implications, translate complex data into business context, and shape pricing strategy alongside the Pricing Lead.


* Ensure excellence: Actively monitor pricing models in production. When tools underperform, you diagnose and address the issues independently and swiftly.






WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TEAM
Pricing a fast-moving refurbished portfolio is highly complex and rarely offers definitive answers. We need someone who is comfortable navigating ambiguity, combining deep technical fluency with sharp commercial judgment. We operate with high trust and high expectations, meaning we are looking for a proactive problem-solver who takes full ownership of their work.

* Experience: You have 3+ years of experience in a high-profile analytical role (e.g. analytics, management consulting, pricing or data science). Previous pricing experience is preferred.


* Technical fluency: You have solid coding skills in SQL and Python, alongside excellent data visualization capabilities.


* AI-assisted development: You actively use Claude Code, Cursor, or equivalent agentic coding tools in your work today. Preferably you would bring methods and patterns the team hasn't tried yet.


* Commercial acumen: You have a structured, analytical mindset. You know how to discuss technical modeling work with non-technical stakeholders on their terms and ensure your data translates into commercial impact.


* Builder mentality: You are a process builder. You take full responsibility for your output, from concept to production.


* Education: A Master's degree from a related field is preferred.

* Previous e-commerce experience.


* Experience with forecasting or advanced statistical modeling.


* A track record of internal tool building.
