What you will do

• Maintain and improve a cloud-native platform to ensure scalability, security, and observability.
• Expand self-service capabilities, enabling engineering teams to manage resources and workflows independently.
• Aggressively automate manual processes to reduce toil and increase developer efficiency.
• Proactively manage infrastructure monitoring to ensure continuous service availability.
• Participate in a compensated on-call rotation to maintain operational integrity 24/7.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in platform engineering.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Strong experience with AWS (ECS, RDS, SQS, SNS, VPC, KMS, SM) and GCP (Cloud Run, BigQuery, Datastream).
• Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines, specifically GitHub Actions.
• Ability to script in Python and Bash for infrastructure automation.
• Must have a dedicated workspace and a reliable, high-speed internet connection.

Nice to have

• Experience with observability tools like Coralogix or PagerDuty.
• Proven track record of identifying and implementing automation opportunities to prevent future manual work.
