What you will do

• Install, calibrate, maintain, and repair laboratory equipment, ranging from simple plate sealers to complex liquid handling robotics.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot system failures to minimize downtime for production lab personnel.
• Coordinate and perform instrument installations and qualifications (IQ/OQ/PQ) per equipment protocols.
• Manage the program for preventative maintenance and routine calibration of all laboratory equipment.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance and external vendors to address escalated service concerns and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Maintain accurate service documentation following Good Documentation Practices (GDP).

Requirements

• BS/BA in biological science, biomedical engineering, or a similar field of study.
• 1 year of industry-related experience supporting lab equipment.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Ability to work in ambiguous situations and adapt to frequently changing environments.
• Proficiency in word processing and data management (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Nice to have

• Familiarity with DNA Isolation and Purification, PCR, Cell Culture, or Sequencing.
• Experience operating automation or sequencing instrumentation.
