Manufacturing Intern

Location: Onsite in Layton, Utah, United States. Must be a US citizen.

What you will do

• Coordinate with group leads and operations to manage production schedules and material replenishment.
• Deliver stock to workstations to ensure uninterrupted production flow.
• Provide status updates on material availability and production constraints during daily stand-up meetings.
• Maintain productivity, safety, and quality standards within the work environment.
• Assist with lean manufacturing audits, including Kaizen events and 5S practices.
• Perform data collection for cycle times, takt time observations, and scrap counts.

Requirements

• Must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain a security clearance if required.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Location: Must be based in or able to work onsite in Layton, Utah.
• Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and operate hand/power tools.
• Capability to perform prolonged periods of standing and frequent manual movements.

Nice to have

• Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant engineering or science discipline.
• Enrollment in a Manufacturing Engineering program.
