What you will do

• Drive domain-level technical strategy and roadmap prioritization for the Core Transfer Experience.
• Lead the architecture and delivery of both customer-facing transfer flows and foundational platform capabilities.
• Contribute hands-on through analysis, code reviews, and direct contributions to the codebase.
• Advance engineering excellence in reliability, observability, security, and quality.
• Mentor SDEs and champion the effective use of AI tools to multiply team velocity.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Operations to resolve scaling, latency, and data quality issues.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering experience, with 3+ years in a staff-level role.
• Experience building and shipping consumer-facing products at scale.
• Advanced expertise in Java, Kotlin, Go, Python, or TypeScript.
• Proven experience designing and operating distributed systems at scale.
• Must be based in or able to work from the Seattle office in a hybrid capacity.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
