Salary: $320,000 - $385,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Draft and negotiate commercial, SaaS, and technology agreements for enterprise and startup customers.
• Partner with Sales and GTM leadership to increase deal velocity and provide practical legal guidance.
• Build and maintain commercial legal infrastructure, including contract templates and playbooks.
• Manage a team of attorneys to support the enterprise and startups segments.
• Identify and escalate legal risks while staying current on AI technology legal developments.

Requirements

• JD and active membership in at least one U.S. state bar.
• Experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts and SaaS agreements.
• Demonstrated people management experience, including hiring and developing legal professionals.
• Ability to work from the San Francisco office at least 3 days a week.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for non-lawyer stakeholders.

Nice to have

• 8+ years of legal experience in commercial contracts or technology transactions.
• Active membership in the California state bar.
• Experience leading legal teams through high-growth phases at technology companies.
