What you will do

• Develop and execute the overarching AI Optimization (AIO) strategy and roadmap to align with business objectives.
• Research and analyze the AI landscape, including LLMs, recommendation algorithms, and agentic systems, to optimize discovery pathways.
• Collaborate with content and product teams to ensure data is structured for AI comprehension (GEO and AEO).
• Establish methodologies and metrics to measure AIO effectiveness, tracking visibility and sentiment in AI outputs.
• Partner with technical SEO and web development teams to refine website architecture and structured data markup.
• Act as the primary internal expert and mentor for search teams, driving strategy and best practice implementation.

Requirements

• 10+ years of organic search experience.
• Deep technical SEO expertise, including content and keyword optimization and local listing management.
• Documented success in growing brands' organic presence.
• Strong leadership experience with the ability to mentor analysts and senior analysts.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and time management skills.
• Must be based in New York
