What you will do

• Design, code, and implement software for embedded devices on unmanned aircraft.
• Integrate sensors and processors, including autopilots, payloads, and radios, into aircraft systems.
• Debug and troubleshoot software issues using oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
• Collaborate with mechanical and electrical engineering teams to deliver high-quality integrated systems.
• Conduct flight tests to verify embedded system functionality in real-world environments.
• Maintain software quality through configuration control and peer design reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace, or a related field.
• 0-3 years of experience in developing embedded software for real-time systems.
• Proficiency in C/C++ within a real-time embedded environment.
• Experience with real-time operating systems, preferably VxWorks or FreeRTOS.
• Knowledge of CAN bus, SPI, and serial (RS485) protocols.
• Must be eligible to work in the US and pass E-Verify identity verification.

Nice to have

• Experience using MATLAB and Simulink.
• Ability to read and understand electrical hardware schematics.
