What you will do

• Develop, test, and troubleshoot software systems used for autonomy drill machines.
• Perform advanced data and systems analysis to resolve complex technical issues from test or customer sites.
• Maintain a strong quality focus through thorough test planning and execution.
• Provide technical leadership and support the onboarding and training of new staff members.
• Collaborate with autonomy software developers and strategists to translate requirements into actionable development efforts.
• Document issues clearly and effectively communicate technical status updates.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Software, or Computer Engineering (or equivalent experience).
• Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) concepts, technologies, and methodologies.
• Proficiency in the software development life cycle (SDLC) and software product testing.
• Ability to design, plan, and execute testing strategies to ensure software quality.
• Must work onsite five days a week in Laval, QC.
• English and French fluency (both written and spoken) is preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience with GPS positioning, Wi-Fi, TCP/IP, UDP/IP, and SSL.
• Experience with CAN/J1939 protocols.
• Proficiency with Linux operating systems.
• Experience using scripting languages such as Python.
• Previous experience in production validation within an Agile environment.
