Quality Engineer II (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Lead and execute QA and compliance activities within assigned manufacturing areas.
• Manage Material Review Boards (MRBs) and handle Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
• Perform Root Cause Analysis and maintain quality performance metrics.
• Ensure project compliance with Quality Management Systems and standards.
• Conduct independent assurance assessments of manufacturing documentation, engineering changes, and equipment calibration.
• Provide quality awareness training to internal teams.

Requirements

• Diploma, degree, or equivalent experience with minimum 3 years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated experience managing NCRs and conducting audits in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and a solid understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Eligibility to obtain Canadian Government NATO Security Clearance and meet all requirements for Canadian Controlled Goods projects.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of IFS ERP.
• Qualified Internal Auditor certification.
• Familiarity with AS9100, ISO 9001:2015, and AQAP standards.
• Knowledge of IPC-A-610 / IPC-A-620 standards.
