Salary: $120,000 - $140,000

What you will do

• Provide the scientific foundation and defensibility for the venture's claims and positioning.
• Design and validate new psychometric instruments, scales, and scoring models.
• Conduct applied research with pilot customers, including criterion and construct validation and efficacy studies.
• Translate peer-reviewed I/O and organizational behavior research into product features, UX, and go-to-market messaging.
• Own the creation of technical manuals, validity evidence, and white papers to ensure scientific credibility.

Requirements

• PhD or equivalent applied experience in Industrial-Organizational Psychology, Organizational Behavior, or Psychometrics.
• Deep hands-on experience in scale construction, IRT or CTT, validation design, and norm development.
• Proven ability to conduct applied validation research in real organizational settings.
• Must be based in the United States.
• Proficiency in using AI tools to enhance productivity and sharpen thinking.
• A builder's mindset comfortable working in a lean, fast-moving venture-style team.
