What you will do

• Lead the finance and accounting function across a multi-entity real estate portfolio with 30+ books.
• Ensure the integrity and reliability of financial reporting in accordance with GAAP standards.
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes, investor distributions, and payroll operations.
• Serve as a strategic partner to ownership and operations, providing insights to drive performance and budgeting.
• Build and scale the finance team structure, internal controls, and standardized SOPs.
• Oversee cash flow, liquidity, and compliance with financial regulations, audits, and tax filings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience.
• Real estate or property management accounting experience required.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and multi-entity accounting environments.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial systems.
• Eligibility to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• CPA certification.
• Experience with Rent Manager or similar property management systems.
• Experience in real estate investment structures.
