What you will do

• Lead the design of distributed backend services that power the entire product suite.
• Architect scalable orchestration layers for customer data in partnership with Product and Compliance teams.
• Migrate core business logic from Salesforce into a dedicated, resilient persistence layer.
• Define standard methodologies for API design, testing, and observability to ensure operational excellence.
• Mentor fellow engineers to foster technical growth and system reliability.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience shipping backend solutions in Java, Kotlin, or Go.
• Proven track record of migrating monoliths into service-oriented architectures.
• Strong API design skills (REST/gRPC) with a focus on performance.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive technical strategy in complex environments.
• Must be based in California (CA).
