What you will do

• Design and implement systems for securities clearing and settlement.
• Own projects from ideation to deployment, resolving ambiguity to build necessary infrastructure.
• Develop systems to enable new product offerings, such as Fully Paid Securities Lending.
• Refine and optimize existing backend systems to improve tangible outcomes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to unlock new revenue streams for the company.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to ensure system reliability and stability.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience building reliable and distributed systems.
• Proficiency with Go, PostgreSQL, and Kubernetes.
• Ability to design high-quality RESTful APIs.
• Strong foundational knowledge of computers, internet protocols, and database behavior.
• Experience working in startup environments.
• Must be based in North America, EMEA, or LATAM.

Nice to have

• Domain experience in securities clearing, settlement, or securities finance.
• Experience with gRPC, Protobuf, Temporal, Grafana, Kafka, Redpanda, Helm, or Docker.
